Join us at the Sausalito Art Bloc for an afternoon of playful exploration, story-sharing, and loads of creative goodness! Through improv-inspired exercises and a little bit of joyful uncertainty, we’ll tap into what it means to connect, practice presence, adapt, and co-create in the moment.

Our time together:
We will spend some time at the start, establishing a shared space together, that feels comfortable and alive.
After that, the bulk of our time will spent in small groups -- following game and storytelling prompts -- with larger group share-outs, to spurn moments of shared clarity.
We'll wrap up with a closing ceremony before we say our "See ya next time!'s.
This is not a performance workshop. It's an improv-inspired adult recess where we'll use our imagination to create and share, in small groups and through larger group shares. In a well-facilitated, brave space where absolutely everyone and every idea is welcome.

Adult Recess: Improv to Learn and Live By
The theme for March’s session is CONNECTION THROUGH STORY.

The scoop:
Join Shannon Hughes from Enlivened Studios on March 12th for an experiential workshop where we'll dive into improv inspired exercises, movement, writing prompts and facilitated discussion to explore risk taking, change resilience and generative creativity in a brave and playful space.
Who is this for?
Thought Leaders, Change Makers and Creatives who lead with curiosity and kindness; who have a commitment to their mission, their art and their message.
People who think joy is cool and connection is paramount.

This event is offered with a pay-what-you-can fee model, starting at $25. I am so very passionate about sharing these experiences at a price that feels comfortable, accessible and good!

When most of think of improv, we think of people making things up on the spot, totally unscripted. We think of a comedy show or maybe Saturday Night Live. We may think of it is a simple artform. After all, there's no script to memorize!
Yes, and...guess what?
Improv is also a treasure trove of life skills that help us be better humans through play, connection and creativity. It is fun and silly. Sometimes totally outrageous. And most all the time filled with laughter.
Sounds pretty great, right?
In this fun-filled 6-week journey, we will play with skills like listening, supporting one another, confident idea sharing and practicing a "Yes, and..." mindset.
How? Through games, themed practice exercises and mini-performances within the group.
Joy and laughing and awesome memories are guaranteed.
